Jo Townsend
Executive Producer
Jo is an experienced and award-winning program maker, television producer and scriptwriter, with a particular interest in long form journalism, documentary making and current affairs.
In her twenty year television career, she’s held various senior positions at Nine’s 60 Minutes and is a former Commissioning Editor of The 7.30 Report.
With a passion for making crime documentaries, and a heaving contact book, Jo was recently Series Producer on The Disappearance of William Tyrrell and Granny Killer: The Unsolved Murders for Perpetual Entertainment. Both screened domestically on the Seven Network.
Jo holds first class Journalism and Law degrees, and a Masters in Public Policy majoring in Economics.
